Earlewood Neighborhood Clean Up

****PLEASE NOTE***
This event has been rescheduled for March 9 due to inclement weather. Please update your calendars!
******************

The Earlewood Neighborhood will be cleaning up River Drive and Sunset Drive. We’d love to have you come out and have some good clean fun!

We will meet at 9 am at the upper ball fields at Earlewood Park at the intersection of Earlewood and Northwood.

Keep the Midlands Beautiful will supply bags, gloves, and grabbers. However, if you have your own gloves or grabbers, feel free to bring those too.

After we gather, we will walk down to Sunset Drive, where our clean up efforts will focus. Because Sunset does not have sidewalks, we will have police escorts surrounding us as we clean! Sgt. Hicks said he would send 5-6 officers to help keep us safe. I estimate we will finish up around 11 am. The City will pick up our collected bagged trash on their run during the week.

As my Grandma Violet says, “Many hands make light work.” So let’s get together Saturday, March 9 and make light work of getting Sunset looking great!!

To RSVP, please join our event on Facebook or leave your comment below.

ECCo Night Out at the Wine Garage

The Earlewood Neighborhood is teaming up with our newest neighbors at The Wine Garage for ECCO Nights Out. Join us for an exclusive beer and wine tasting, to connect with friends and neighbors, and just to hang out.

For those not yet familiar with the Wine Garage:
The Wine Garage is a neighborhood wine and beer shop. The wines and beers we sell come from small producers, usually family run. We try to keep the prices in the $10 – $20 range. So if someone needs wine or beer for dinner, all they gotta do is swing by.

ECCO members that are current or sign up before March 14th, will receive an extra 10% discount on selected wines and beers.
