One of Earlewood’s greatest assets is the sense of community that is pervasive in the culture of the neighborhood. Many residents find a unique sense of community in Earlewood that is hard to describe. Trusted neighbors who are happy to feed your dog and get your mail while you’re away, impromptu porch party invitations as you’re out walking with the family and nights out with the gang at resident-owned watering holes are all common occurrences for many Earlewood residents. You can hop on Facebook to put out a call about your lost dog on the ECCO group, and have neighbors volunteering to help you find the pooch within minutes, or ask for recommendations for roofers and get testimonials all week.
Many residents agree that the historic character of the neighborhood is what drew them here, but the character of their neighbors and the relationships they’ve built is what has made them stay.
