Earlewood Tubes the Saluda @ Cayce Riverwalk
Jul 8 @ 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Let’s Tube the Saluda River!

We’ll meet at the Cayce Riverwalk Park (just over the Gervais St bridge on the left at the corner of Meeting and Alexander) at 3:45 to catch the 4:00 shuttle upriver. We’ll be off the water by about 7:00. We’ll coordinate coolers for beverages, etc. later.

It’s about a 2 hour float from Riverbanks Zoo to the Cayce Riverwalk (from the Saluda River to the Congaree River). It’s an amazing river trip. The water is chilly from the Lake Murray dam, so it feels really good on a hot afternoon. They’ll provide life jackets and tubes (with web bottoms). Wear shoes that can handle rocks getting in and out without losing them and don’t forget sunscreen and water!

Palmetto Outdoor Center has offered us a group discount if we have 30 people or more confirmed, so please RSVP so I can make sure we have enough. If not, we can go for the regular price of $15/person/tube.

Kids should be 10 yrs old or older and must weigh over 50 lbs to fit into the life jackets.

I’ll post more details about the trip and what to bring as we get closer to the date.

This will be so much fun!
